Walcott Adams Verneuille Architects has been presented with many prestigious awards, including the AIA Honor Award for the Fairhope restaurant “Aubergine,” the AIA Award of Merit for the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Estuarium from both the AIA Alabama Council as well as the AIA Louisiana Council. The AIA Alabama Council also presented the firm with the Award of Merit Honor Award for renovation of it's own office in downtown Fairhope. The firm was presented the "Green Award" in 1999 for its redevelopment efforts at Thomas Medical Center in Daphne, Alabama.
In 2000, Walcott Adams Verneuille was Recognized By The Associated General Contractors of America, Inc. As "Architect of The Year" For The State of Alabama, As well as The Eastern Shore's Chamber of Commerce "Small Business of The Year."
